Zachary Truboff is a rabbinic scholar, educator, and writer who lives in Jerusalem. He is the author of Torah Goes Forth From Zion: Essays on the Thought of Rav Kook and Rav Shagar and serves as the Director of the International Beit Din Institute for Agunah Research and Education.
His writing and teaching seeks to explore the tensions between the Torah and the contemporary world from a place of deep religious commitment. To do this, he regularly engages with the thought of the greatest Jewish thinkers of the last two centuries alongside modern philosophy, critical theory, and psychoanalysis. He is known for his ability to convey complex ideas in a way that is accessible and compelling, and as a result, he is a sought after speaker and teacher.
