The Call of Love

This shiur explores Rosenzweig’s return to Judaism as an experience of falling in love. To do this it draws upon Rosenzweig’s idea of revelation as laid out in the Star of Redemption 2:2. To fall in love is to have one’s name called by the Other and to be able to answer to it with Hineni, “Here I am!”
