When will I do all the mitzvot? Not Yet

Rosenzweig recognizes he cannot do all the mitzvot, but that doesn’t mean he rejects his obligation to them. Saying No to them would mean closing off one’s relationship to God but saying Yes to them would be something impossible. Rather, Rosenzweig argues, the appropriate response is Not Yet. This idea has wide ranging implications for many aspects of Rosenzweig’s thought.
